Steps
- 1Work out which record has the wrong detail — PAN or Aadhaar
- 2If it's your PAN: correct it via the Protean/UTIITSL correction form(on the official portal)
- 3If it's your Aadhaar: update it via UIDAI's official channels(on the official portal)
- 4Once both records match, retry linking PAN and Aadhaar(on the official portal)
- 5If linking still fails, use biometric authentication at a PAN Service Provider centreCarry your PAN, Aadhaar, and the fee-paid challan copy; an additional biometric authentication charge applies at the centre.
